AirGenerate acquires AirTap technology from Beyond Pollution

Houston, Texas – February 14, 2008 – AirGenerate, LLC announced today that it has acquired assets of Beyond Pollution Inc., a water heater heat pump company based in Katy, Texas.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

AirTap™ is an adaptable heat pump that attaches onto customers’ existing water heater, whether it be gas or electric. The unit uses a patent pending method that reverses refrigeration technology to heat water. This device, with an MSRP of $399 (exclusive of rebates), is easy and inexpensive to operate and maintain. Installation takes around an hour; even less with an assistant.

When attached, your water heater becomes the only of its kind to be certified by GAMA (Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association), making customers eligible for federal rebate programs. Sunil Sinha of Beyond Pollution will join AirGenerate as Chief Scientist. “Sunil has years of experience in renewable energy and can deliver on commercially-viable products as evidenced by his work on AirTap™.
